Description
Catalytic Granular Activated Carbon Media 12 x 40 Mesh
The Catalytic Granular Activated Carbon Media 12 x 40 mesh is made with a liquid phase virgin activated carbon that is used to develop catalytic functionality. It is effective in the removal of chloramines and hydrogen sulfide from potable water. It is NSF Certified and is produced from coconut shell GAC.
With it’s extremely large micropore volume, it is made to for the removal of low molecular weight organic compounds and their chlorinated by-products like chloroform, and other trihalomethanes (THMs). It is also created to remove chloramines, hydrogen sulfide, VOCs, iron, chemicals, chlorine, tastes and odors. It ensures an exceptionally clean activated carbon product through it’s mechanical hardness and it’s extensive dedusting process.
